When I was a child we grew up with Sesame Street.  In this digital age there are lots of videos and resources on line and while doing research I came upon a YouTube channel called ALPHABLOCKS and the children love it.  These lovable characters help children remember their letters and sounds and learn to blend sound to make words.  I have found this program to be very engaging for our Kindergarteners.  It helps them learn while being completely engaged in the program.  There are lots of videos to choose from on this YouTube channel.
