A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL

Dear Mt. Marion Families,

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten registration will held February 22-25th.  It is very important that if you haven’t registered your child, and plan on attending Mt. Marion’s Pre-K or Kindergarten next year, that you pick up a registration packet so we can get an accurate number of students who will be attending Mt. Marion in the Fall.  If you have any questions, please contact our Central Registrar, Heidi Rothe, at 247-6500 est. 9211. We are excited to know who our new students will be!

Congratulations to all of our students that participated in this year’s PARP program.  Students were thrilled about all of the exciting events, activities, and we look forward to the PARP awards celebration to be held this month.  Students will received a special treat and get a GOLD COIN.  Each GOLD COIN rewards students with a free book from our book vending machine.  Every student in Mt. Marion will have a chance to win!  Let’s work together to keep the PARP momentum going and have our students read as much as possible in school and at home.  

This month is our “March Mathness” challenge.  A math challenge calendar will be sent home March 8th with more fun activities that students can challenge themselves to do.  I also challenge all of our students to work together to complete and pass 1000 math lessons on their i-Ready pathway by the end of the month.  Meet the challenge, and send me up to the roof top to do math homework for the afternoon!!

JUST A REMINDER, there is a ½ day on March 17th for Superintendent’s Conference Day, and there is NO SCHOOL March 28th through April 2nd for Spring Break.  School resumes on April 5th.
