Welcome to English as a New Language.  This class is for developing and improving English language proficiency. 

Instruction will be in person and in English.  A Google Classroom account will be established and students will be familiar with it.  This will only be utilized should we need to pivot to remote instruction.

For the first 5 weeks of school, we will review our basic communications skills, establish learning routines and adjust to our surroundings.    After that, we will  increase rigor to devlop English language proficiency in the academic content areas.    Instruction may be whole group or individualized.  

Grading will be based on participation and effort in completing assignments.   Grades will be given for work completion and participation each week.
