CLASSROOM RULES
Each fall students will help design the rules and expectations for the RtI Math classroom. It will become a contract, in which all students will participate in creating and signing.
In general, it is expected students adhere to the following rules/expectations in RtI Math:
- Work cooperatively
- Respect ourselves, each other and school property
- Encourage and support one another
- Respect each other's space
- Use appropriate verbal and body language
- Always try our best!!!
CONSEQUENCES
If a student is unable to follow the classroom rules and expectations the following consequences will occur in the following order:
- Redirection from the teacher
- Private talk in the hall
- Follow up with the student's classroom teacher, which could result in "a strike, clip moved down," or other classroom consequence used by the child's homeroom teacher
- Phone call home
- Discussion with the Principal
