CLASSROOM RULES

Each fall students will help design the rules and expectations for the RtI Math classroom.  It will become a contract, in which all students will participate in creating and signing.

In general, it is expected students adhere to the following rules/expectations in RtI Math:

• Work cooperatively
• Respect ourselves, each other and school property
• Encourage and support one another
• Respect each other's space
• Use appropriate verbal and body language
• Always try our best!!!

CONSEQUENCES

If a student is unable to follow the classroom rules and expectations the following consequences will occur in the following order:

1. Redirection from the teacher
2. Private talk in the hall 
3. Follow up with the student's classroom teacher, which could result in "a strike, clip moved down," or other classroom consequence used by the child's homeroom teacher
4. Phone call home
5. Discussion with the Principal
