Our daily schedule will change as the year progresses.  At the start of the school year, students need to change activities more frequently.  As we build stamina during the year, students will spend more time working in curriculum areas.  Here is a sample of our daily schedule at the beginning of the year:

9:00 - 9:30      Arrival & Morning Warm-Ups (announcements, desk activities)

9:30 - 9:40      Morning Meeting

9:40 - 10:00    Phonics / Word Work

10:00 - 10:30  Writing Workshop

10:30              Snack and Recess

10:45 - 11:30  Math

11:30 - 12:10  Lunch & Recess

12:15 - 1:15    Reading

1:15 - 2:00     Centers

2:00 - 2:20     Choice Time / Science / Social Studies Activities

2:30 - 3:10     Specials
