Fostering independence and responsibility is a goal I have for all 5th graders. In order to foster these skills, students will be expected to complete homework assignments often. Homework should never be more than one hour per night for any child. It is hard to set a time limit because all students work at different paces. Remember.... Homework is designed to help all students achieve greater academic success and helps develop effective work habits. Should your son/daughter not complete a homework assignment, he/she will be given a "Pink Slip".  This "Pink Slip" will indicate the incomplete assignment (s). It is expected the "Pink Slip" is signed and returned the following day along with the incomplete assignment (s).
