The 7th grade Regents Prep Consulting program is designed to give new 7th graders who receive a consulting teacher the services and added support they need in order to make their transition a successful one.  I, as the special education teacher, attend the students English and math sections and my teaching assistant follows them to their science and social studies sections.  In the classroom I ensure the students IEP's are being implemented, suggest lesson ideas that will meet the needs of struggling learners as well as track student progress.  Some student also receive Resource Room servies where we work on skill deficits, organizational skills and study skills.
