Simple MachinesWe are working on our Simple Machines Unit. Through the use of videos, online resources, books, and activities, we will be learning about the six simple machines. The end of the unit project will consist of three different parts. Each section will have a seperate due date and will be graded seperately. On this page, you will be able to find some helpful information and resources to assist with these projects. Most of the the Outline and Scavenger hunt will be done in class. We will do a bit of brainstorming about the trap in class, but the project itself should be completed at home.Simple Machines ProjectSimple Machines Outline due: (will be assigned soon)Scavenger Hunt due: (will be assigned soon)Leprechaun Trap due: March 17+++Mrs. Dudzic's Class webpage has additinal links the kids may enjoy.+++Check out this glossary of Simple Machines terms!Simple Machines make work easier!Follow the link to a great game that teaches you to identify simple machines that we use in our everyday lives.Try this matching game for each simple machine: http://mikids.com/Smachines.htmWatch these little video clips first THEN explore the other sites. We will watch this one together in class. This link give you a clear definition and example of each simple machine.Did you watch the videos first? Some more advanced information from the Inventor's Toolbox
