• Communication is a key component to your child's success ~ please reach  out if you have questions or concerns.

Email - is the best way to reach me to answer general questions or provide information about our program.    rmulford@saugerties.k12.ny.us

         *  I  generally check my email between 8:30am & 9:00 am  and again at some point between 11:30am -3:30pm.  I will try to send you a quick one line answer to let you know I've received your email.   Many emails require a more  detailed response than one line, but there is often not time for a detailed response while the students are at school.     If I don't respond within a school day, please feel free to send a follow up.

Paper Notes  -  I have a mail basket that is checked each morning.   The best thing that paper notes are good for dismissal/pick up changes. If I am absent, whoever is in for me will know your child has a change in their routine.   These notes are also sent to the main office and tracked by our Greeter for the safety of our students during dismissal. Guest teachers aka substitutes do not have access to our emails so if you are if you are emailing about a dismissal change or another time sensitive matter please CC the building secretary or nurse to ensure that the email is seen in he event I'm absent.     Notes about absences are also helpful if you have not responded to the autodialer attendance call.

Social Media - Although Social Media has become very mainstream for many parts of our lives, I've tried to keep it separate from school.   Also, in my opinion, social media is not really a part of my professional persona.   With that being said, if we happen to be "Friends" on some form of social media please DO NOT contact me about school related issues using that platform.   If you need to reach me about school related topics use my school email, a paper note or a phone call.  ~ Thank you.

Voicemail -   845-247-6960 ext.  5016  (needs to be updated for 2022/2023 school  year) -     ***e-mail is much preferred over voice mail.    I am the only one that has access to my voicemail so if I am absent, I will not get your message until I return to school.

If you need to get a message to your child about a dismissal change please call the Riccardi  main office at 247-6960 and press 1 for the  main office.    There are days that I am out of the building and do not access my voice mail.
