AP students will complete an AP exam in May. A description of the exam is included in the above link.

Each student will also complete a New York State Regents exam in U.S. History and Government in June.

    Grading:

We will be using a total points grading system. Assignments will be given a point value. Point values will reflect the rigor of each assignment. Late/incomplete/innaccurate work will result in point deductions.

Assessments will address the skills required for success on the AP exam and focus on skills used by historians. Assessments will include essays, projects, current events assignments, objective assessments, individual and collaborative activities.
