Hola, Me llamo Srta. Viviani.
My name is Andrea Viviani. I am a mother of three beauiful girls and a Saugerties Central School District Graduate (2000). As a child of Italian immigrants, I grew up speaking Italian. My Nonno and Nonna refused to learn English, so it was vital that my siblings and I learn Italian in order to communicate with them. My love of Spanish flourished when I was a student here at SCSD while in Sra. Houlihan and Sra. Aponte's classes. I feel in love with the language, the culture, the music, the food, the literature and the history.
I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Mt. Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. I graduated with a degree in Hispanic Studies and Education grades 7-12. I completed my Master's Degree through Walden University. I completed my Master's of Science in Education with a concentration in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. I began my teaching career in Septepmber of 2005 at Marlboro Middle School, in Marlboro, NY. I chose to take some time off in June of 2016, to be a stay at home mom. I feel blessed that I was able to have that time with my children. I returned to the classroom in November of 2020 and I could not be happier. I wake up every morning excited to come to work and share my love on the Spanish language and culture with my students.
