• Grading Policy:

    • 10% - Participation
    • 20% - Homework
    • 30% - Quizzes
    • 40% - Tests

A student's participation grades consists of daily attendance in class, completing daily "warm ups", participating in class and attending google meets.

Homework is expected to be completed and turned in on time. I will accept work late, but there will be a penalty of 10 points per day late. Please try and get work in as soon as possible.  If you are having difficulty with an assignment, please see me!

Quizzes and tests will be announced throughout the year. I will hold review sessions before all tests.

Essays are required in this class. If you need help with any part of writing an essay, please let me know and I will be happy to work with you.

Extra help will be offered twice a week most weeks, and will be posted on the board in class and in my Google Classroom.  These days may change from week to week, so be sure to check when I am offering extra help.

My goal this year is to help you succeed, so please let me know if you are having trouble with anything! I’m here to help you!

Homework & Grading
  • Homework policy:

In order to succeed, make sure your work is turned in on time.

Homeworks will be handed out in class as well as posted on Google Classroom. Late homework will be accepted, but will have 10 points deducted per day it is late. If you are having an issue turning in work on Google Classroom, please let me know.

Plagiarism or any representation of another’s work as your own is cheating. Please do your own work on assignments, quizzes and tests. Take pride in your work, don’t let someone copy from you. If I find that you have plagiarized or copied someone else’s work (even from the internet), disciplinary action will follow.

    Make Up Work Policy:

You have 5 school days to make up all missed work (including tests & quizzes) - please let me know if there is an issue with making up work. I am happy to work with you to help you succeed!
