Grading Policy:
1. Your grade will be determined by the total number of points you have earned on quizzes and tests, divided by the total number of possible points.
2. Points will only be earned from tests and quizzes. Homework is not a grade, but it must be completed every day.
3. If you did not complete your homework or prepare for a test, accept the grade and the consequences. Plan to do better the next time.

Homework Policy:
1. Homework is assigned almost everyday. You are expected to complete the assignments. Homework is not graded and does count in your average. It is where you practice and learn things. Copying homework is just a waste of time. You should spend 20 - 30 minutes each day completing assignments. Try every problem. Never be afraid of making mistakes.
2. I will go over the homework every day. You are required to check and correct your own work. Be prepared to ask questions in class. I am always making mistakes. Therefore, do not try a problem because you think you may get it wrong. We learn from our mistakes.
3. I will put your assignments for the week on "classroom." You are to take pictures of each assignment and upload it to "classroom" by Friday of each week. It must be received by 2:30 PM. I will check it off.
4. Parents or guardians will be emailed every few weeks if you are not completing assignments.
5. I understand that life happens and there may be an emergency. Please let me know. Otherwise, do not make excuses. Simply admit that you did not do your homework.

Expectations:
1. Let me start by saying that PreCalculus is a college credit elective course. My expectations are that my students want to be here and they want to learn math. You can only succeed in math by doing math. You will make mistakes. We all do. No one is perfect. Hopefully, you will learn from those mistakes and grow mathematically. You must always be willing to try and never give up. Math is difficult and it takes perseverance. I encourage you to work with one another by forming study groups. That does not mean that you copy. Please do your own work. Cheating is unacceptable.
2. I expect you to be present, listen, and ask and answer questions.
3. I expect you to do your homework every night.
