• Resource Room Information

     

     

    • In resource room core subject content will be retaught and reviewed, and skills will be practiced in a small group setting.

    • Algebra R
    • English 9
    • Global 9

    Grading 

    • will be based on attendance, effort and participation
    • students will receive grades of
      • Excellent- goes above and beyond satisfactory requirements 
      • Satisfactory - attends class regularly, is responsible with materials, cooperative and attentive, completes assignments
      • Unsatisfactory- multiple absences, materials lost or missing on a regular basis, uncooperative, many missing assignments 

     

    • Classwork/ Homework Postings

    Assignments for classes will be recorded on Google classroom and in the classroom on the white board.

    Students are strongly encouraged to use the Google calendar and/ or a planner daily to effectively manage their time and assignments. 

    After school

    Extra help will be offered on Wednesdays during remote learning. 

    While in school extra help will be offered at least 1 day per week after school.

    Days for after school help will be listed on the white board below the homework assignments.

    • Supplies

    Students will not need a separate binder for resource room. 

    They will need to bring a planner ( filled out daily) and their notebooks from core subjects. 

    They will need: paper, pens, pencils

     

    Class Rules/ Expectations

    • Arrive on time to class / Google Meets
    • Come to class with materials  ( notebook, paper, pen, classwork/ homework) 
    • Be respectful of others
    • Be responsible with your materials and work completion

    Attendance 

    • There is a known correlation between attendance and academic performance. It is the responsibility of each student to attend classes in person/ and or on-line regularly.
    • Daily effort and a positive attitude go a long way towards success.
    • You are required to make up all work when absent. It is your responsibility to find out what you missed and turn it in.
