Every student who attends Saugerties High School must take the following courses to meet New York State Graduation requirements:4 Credits in English (e.g., English 9, 10, 11, 12)4 Credits in Social Studies (e.g., Global Studies 9 and 10, US History 11, and Economics and Government)3 Credits in Math (e.g., Math 9, 10, 11)3 Credits in Science (e.g., Earth Science, Living Environment, and Chemistry or Physics)3 Credits of Foreign Language (e.g., French 1, 2, and 3, or Spanish 1, 2, and 3) (* In some student cases, only 1 credit of Foreign Langauge is needed. It all depends on the diploma type the student is working towards.
