Modifications to Procedure:step 2. Measure out 11g of copper sulfate crystals and add these to the 100ml beaker.step 8. Write name on filter paper. Weigh and record the mass of the filter paper.step 9. Make cone with filter paper and set in 250ml beaker. Pour solution and copper into the filter paper. May need to tap bottom of beaker and also add more water and swirl mixture to get all copper into filter paper.step 10. Set filter paper with copper in it on cart to dry.step 11. Weigh and record the mass of the filter paper with the copper in it. Subtract out the weight of the filter paper. This will give you the mass of the copper.
