Current Projects:

1.  SHS Garden - 30 beds located within a 100' x 40' enclosure 

2.  SHS Maple Syrup - Tapping approximately 20 silver maple trees annually in a longitudinal study investigating changes in phenological events due to climate change 

3.  SHS Clynk Collection - Clynk deposit boxes are placed throughout Saugerties SHS & JHS to reduce the amount of recyclable waste produced by the student body and staff.  Redeemable bottles and cans are collected every week and serve as one of our primary fundraisers for club activities 

3.  Cafeteria Composting - It is the Eco Club's hope to begin limited composting in the senior high cafetera.
