• MARKETING: VIDEO PRODUCTION I (MVP)

    Full Year – 1 credit              Grades 9 – 12

    No pre-requisites

A leadership seminar, M:VP is geared to a student’s ability to be creative, think independently and be imaginative.  This class encompasses production, editing and creation of video for business as well as personal use.  Through the use of video construction, students will learn how to work effectively with a group, brainstorm, budget, problem solve as well as other important skills needed in today’s working world.  The Hudson Valley is now known as Hollywood on the Hudson, and Saugerties students and graduates are among those in that industry, including casting directors, actors, directors, editors, and production assistants.  Four CVP alumni are Emmy winners and one is College Emmy winner!  Our students are successful in the entertainment business.  The CVP faculty work closely with the founders of Stockade Works and UpRiver Studios to provide career information and internship opportunities for CVP students.
