Reward System

Class Rewards

Students will be encouraged to "collect" interesting vocabulary words and mentor sentences, as well as connections to our Essential Questions. Each time a student participates in collecting, a pom pom will be added to the jar for their grade level. We will be competing (grade 7 vs. grade 8) to fill the jars. A class reward will be decided and given upon filling the jar. 

Individual Rewards

Students will each have a punch card. Holes will be punched for excellent performance on assignments, organization checks, and outstanding behavior or demonstrations of kindness. Completed cards can be traded in for various rewards of different values (some might require saving more than one completed card).
