Buying stocks
You have $10,000 to spend. You must spend as close to $10,000 without going over.
Start with the closing price for the 1st Monday for each stock.
Example
3 stock prices: $45.25, $13.10, $62.00
$45.25 x 100 shares = $4525.00
$13.10 x 124 shares = $1624.40
Add up what you have spent at this point and subtract it from the $10,000
I spent $6149.40 and the amount I have left to spend is $10,000-$6149.40 =
Take the $3850.60 / $62.00 = 62 shares
$62.00 x 62 shares = $3844.00
Total spent- $9993.40
Weekly loss/gain
Week one
Friday’s closing price – Monday’s closing price x # of shares
If positive put next to gain, if negative put next to loss.
You will need to do this for each stock.
Week Two
2nd Friday’s closing price – 1st Friday’s closing price x # of shares
Week Three
3rd Friday’s closing price – 2nd Friday’s closing price x # of shares
Total loss/gain
Add the three weeks together for each stock and than give a total amount
