    9th grade English is organized as a survey course, meaning we are able to "survey" or study a number of genres.
    In that way, we will be experiencing life through literature.

    The curriculum is dictated by NYS Common Core Standards. As such, students will be reading closely for textual details, making evidence-based claims, researching to deepen their understanding of literature and life, and building evidence-based arguments, among other things.
