Independent Read: Anytime you read a book on your own, hand in a brief discussion, including your overall opinion of it for extra credit. (+30 EC points)

Newspaper Assignment: Write an article, conduct an interview, design a page, review a book/movie/video game, photograph a school event (sports included) and hand it in in time for printing of the current issue (+50 EC points)
