    Due Friday, September 18th:

The first assignment of the year will count as two quiz grades. I want you to take your time with this assignment. I want you to first make an outline or a rough copy (for your personal use). I want you to take a night to culminate your thoughts , then a night to organize them (an outline or a rough copy) and then I want you to take a a day to write.

I don’t want this to come off of the top of your head. I want you to have vivid examples , thought provoking ideas, and imagery that catches my attention.

    So…..

As a diagnostic (aka pre assessment)of your writing ability, please complete the following:

In a five paragraph essay, tell me about you. In most writing, we know that we are not supposed to use personal pronouns ( I, me). However in this assignment it is allowed.

For the three body paragraphs I want to know about any or all of the following:  your family, friends, sports, activities, neighborhood, vacations, relatives , school experiences, challenges , hopes and dreams !
