• Those of you who had me in 9th grade, know that we do a live performance of Shakespeare in class. I have shown you the pictures of our live performances. The dressing up, sword fights, and dramatic deaths. The plays are such great fun. We act in class, and die on the mats that I have placed on the floors. Unfortunately, this year we will have to adapt to Corona. There can be no interacting. We will have to all perform virtually. You will be performing Act 3 Scene 1- pages 69--117 lines 1-492. Everyone must take a part. Some parts are very small, some are very large. Do what you are comfortable with. Basic participation will get you a 65. If you want a higher grade, you must act, totally get into the part, turn your camera on, get dressed up, put on make up, use props. The project can help many of you to pass last quarter. Many of you struggle with tests. This is the great equalizer. Over the break, think about who you want to be. Think about the grade that you want to get. I have kids with major anxiety and fear participate in this project. You can take one line, and dress up, and look the part. We will practice regularly in class once the parts are assigned.

    The parts include:

    Titania

    Puck

    Oberon

    Lysander

    Demetrius

    Helena

    Hermia

    Bottom

    Snout

    Starveling

    Quince

    Flute Fairies -1 part
